The discussion will illuminate how fire is an essential component of Native lifeways, affirms tribal sovereignty, and is a critical element for healthy California ecosystems. Learn what it means to be a steward of the land and how Native fire practitioners are increasing their efforts to build a more sustainable future with fire in California.

Our Saint Patrick’s Day Badger (aka The Leprebadger) has fled his traditional date in March in search of better weather and drier trails! 2026’s date will be April 18th, and our badger is ready! The emerald hills of Lake Del Valle await the 10K and half-marathon, but the 5K course remains nice and flat!
All runners will receive custom finisher medals and t-shirts.
